The driver of the multicab that Jovelyn Galleno was riding the night she went missing on August 5 has spoken up.
In an interview with Radyo Bandera Philippines, the unidentified man said he no longer remembers the details of what happened that night.
He added that he only knew that Jovelyn became his passenger after a week so he can no longer recall what actually happened.
“Bukod dun, matagal na, halos one week na yung nakalipas. Halos naano na sa isip ko. Araw-araw akong nagbibiyahe.
Asked if he did not think about the possibility that Jovelyn became her passenger when news of her being missing broke, the driver explained that there was no mention that Jovelyn rode a multicab at first.
“Nung una pong balita na nawala si Jovelyn, unang balita sa Rob. wala naman pong na-involve ang multicab,” he said.
Netizens have expressed support for the driver, saying that they believe that he is telling the truth.
Meanwhile, Jovelyn’s family is asking for continued prayers for her safety. She was on the way home after her duty from a mall in Palawan but she did not reach their house.
