Actress Neri Naig, wife of Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, opened up about her delicate pregnancy, her second after suffering a miscarriage last year, stressing that she chose to be secluded from people to avoid stress.
On Instagram, Neri explained her condition forced her to take a one-month break from social media and from watching television shows, as well, an article published by ABS-CBN disclosed.
Neri posted a lengthy post which reads:”Maselan ako magbuntis. Kaya maraming iniiwasan. Bawal stress. Happy thoughts lang lagi. Hindi rin ako nanonood masyado ng TV maliban na lang kung ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘House Hunters International,’ or ‘Flea Market Flip.’ Kapag nakakabangon naman ako at di nahihirapan, I paint. Or nagpa-puzzle ako. Or kumakanta.”
[I have a delicate pregnancy. There are a lot to be avoided. Stress is prohibited. Only happy thoughts. I don’t watch TV except ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘House Hunters International,’ or ‘Flea Market Flip.’ If I can get up easily, I paint, do some puzzles or sing.]
Neri revealed her solitary world allowed her to talk with few people specifically her mother, siblings, and husband as she added even her friends were not exempt from her voluntary seclusion.
For this reason, Neri said she is thankful for having a caring and loving husband.
“I am very thankful kase super ako alagaan ng asawa ko kahit gaano pa sya kapagod sa trabaho at byahe. Kahit nahihirapan ako, andyan siya lagi at napapagaan nya kahit papaano ang pakiramdam ko. Kaya saludo ako sa lahat ng mga mister na andyan para sa mga misis nila lalo na’t nahihirapan magbuntis,” she wrote.
[I am very thankful because my husband takes good care of me no matter how tired he is from work and travel. He is always there to comfort me. I salute all husbands who are there to take care of their wives especially those who have difficult pregnancy.]
Last Father’s Day, it was Chito who announced Neri’s pregnancy.
Aside from thanking her husband, Neri also extended her heartfelt thanks to her followers for their undying support, love and prayers.
“Sinasabi sa akin ng asawa ko mga messages nyo. Di ko hawak lagi ang telepono ko. Iwas talaga ako now. Gusto ko relax lang at tahimik,” her post states.
[My husband relays all your messages to me. I don’t always hold my phone. I want to relax and be peaceful for now.]
