Is Adele’s advice sought by his fellow singer Zayn Malik?
In an article that was posted on Stuff, it was disclosed that Malik has reportedly sought help from Adele; hoping to be able to manage his crippling anxiety attacks.
Malik recently pulled out at the last minute before his gig at London’s Wembley Stadium. Anxiety was given as the reason why he refused to perform.
Later on, it was claimed that he asked for an advice from Adele regarding how the latter managed to overcome her condition.
“Zayn’s management are doing everything they can to help him because it’s having a major impact on his career,” a source disclosed.
“I believe (he’s) been in touch with Adele’s manager Johnathan Dickins about it because Adele got a lot of help with panic attacks and stage fright – and look at her now. They’re (Malik’s management team) pulling in people who can help him because he can overcome this and if he’s going to stay in music and singing he absolutely has to get it under control. After the issue last weekend it has become a matter of urgency,” the person shared.
Malik is a 23-year-old English singer and songwriter who auditioned as a solo artist for the British reality television music competition The X Factor.
After he was eliminated as a solo performer, Malik was brought back into the competition — together with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson — to form a boy band, One Direction.
In 2015, however, Malik officially left the band.
Malik then signed a solo recording contract with RCA Records. His debut studio album Mind of Mine was released last March 2016. The album became number one in some countries; including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Malik became the first British male artist to debut at number one in both the UK and US with his debut single and debut album.
