On Facebook, Guinness World Records revealed that Twinkie got the “Fastest Time To Pop 100 Balloons By A Dog” record.
“Once she pops, Twinkie can’t stop! Twinkie the Jack Russell Terrier from California, USA has burst 100 balloons in just 39.08 seconds, breaking the previous record of 41.67 seconds set by Cally The Wonder Dog UK on Britain’s Got Talent,” the Guiness revealed.
Thousands of people also commented on the Facebook post.
“Just another dog who has no idea what the concept of a record is, just popping balloons. This little man has no idea he’s going to be in a book. He’s just popping balloons cause he likes it. I like him,” wrote Facebook user T.T.
“Congrats, Twinkle! There is no dog breed funnier, more entertaining, crazier and more nerve wrecking than Jack Russell Terriers, and we have two that we wouldn’t trade for anything. LOL (laughing out loud) I always advise people who want one: you have to have a lot of patience, energy, understanding and a sense of humor – a wicked sense of humor. Otherwise, don’t do it because they will test you every minute of the day. LOL,” commented L.H.
“Seeing a dog pop 100 balloons; exactly what I need to brighten up my otherwise dull day,” L.B. expressed.
It was also disclosed that getting a record for popping balloons was also achieved by Twinkie’s mother.
“A passion for popping is in the family — Twinkie’s mother Anastasia previously held this record,” the Guiness said.
