Kim Kardashian takes Taylor Swift-Kanye West feud to a new level with a Snapchat video

  • Kim Kardashian released a video on her Snapchat of a phone conversation between Kanye West and Taylor Swift regarding West’s song ‘Famous’
  • In the video, Swift signed off on the controversial lyrics
  • Swift accuses Kardashian and West of “character assassination”

In the recent development of the Taylor Swift-Kanye West clash over the latter’s newest single ‘Famous’, Hollywood’s biggest feud just got more controversial as West’s wife Kim Kardashian chimed in and released a video on her Snapchat painting the pop star as a liar.

After the single’s release, Swift thought it was inappropriate and denied any prior knowledge of being mentioned in the song or that even a call from West happened.

On Sunday, July 17, Kim posted on Snapchat a video as proof of the phone conversation between her husband and what is believed to be Swift. On the video, the rapper was informing Swift that he will be referencing her in the lyrics of his song.

West read the lyrics to Swift over the speakerphone: “For all my Southside n***** [expletive] that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**** [expletive] famous.”

“Yeah I mean go with whatever line you think is better. It’s obviously very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice,” Swift said, signing off on the lyrics.

After the video made rounds on social media, Swift posted a response via Instagram.

“He promised  to play the song for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard,” the pop star said.

She continued: “Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination.”

Kardashian and West don’t seem worried about any legal action Swift make take against them for illegally recording the conversation and are in fact waiting for her to do so.

“Kim and Kanye consulted with their lawyers and still went ahead with releasing it,” a close source to Kardashian told Us Magazine. “They are not worried. They are sick of Taylor’s manipulations and her good girl act. They just wanted to expose her as a fake and will let the lawyers deal with legal stuff.”
