Her father, Jose Manalo, must be very proud.
More than being beautiful, the daughter of a famous comedian – Myki Manalo – gives the Manalo family greater pride as she will become a doctor soon.
The 24-year-old lady earned a psychology degree at the at De La Salle University in 2012 and finished studying medicine at the Far Eastern University– Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) just recently.
At present, according to a GMA News story, she is doing her post graduate internship at De Los Santos Medical Center.
She’s a daughter of the 50-year-old comedian Jose Manalo; one of the most in demand and most popular comedians of today who currently appears on three big Kapuso television shows: Eat Bulaga!, Sunday Pinasaya, and Hay Bahay!
On Eat Bulaga, he co-hosts Wally on the Juan for All: All for Juan segment wherein they visit various barangays to give prizes. In the Kalyeserye segment he plays the roles of Lola Tinidora and the closing narrator Gingging.
He plays varied roles on Sunday Pinasaya such as impersonations, hosting, live stage-plays, singing and dancing. Among his most memorable roles on the program are Pepeng Astigidig, President Rodney “Dugong” Juterte, and being one of the dos-lolos (another is Wally Bayola).
He is Mael, the sidekick of Vio (played by Vic Sotto), in the sitcom Hay Bahay which has premiered just this month, and among other casts are Ai Ai de las Alas, Wally, Oyo Boy Sotto and Kristine Hermosa-Sotto.
From humble beginnings, Jose Manalo has truly come a long way and having a future doctor daughter is a dream come true for him. Here’s an interview with Jessica Soho in 2013:
