DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – A boyfriend secretly flew more than 5,600 kilometers to surprise and propose to his girlfriend who was  enjoying a Dubai desert adventure.

Claire Corkery mentioned in her Mail Online article published on June 30 that Ben Moss hid out in his hotel room while he carefully and discreetly plans to surprise his girlfriend Abbie Parker while she was visiting a friend in the United Arab Emirates.

Ben revealed his surprise after Abbie had completed a desert safari with friends Keira Downes and Danielle Harvey. The girls were out in the desert and riding camels, drove over sand dunes and enjoyed belly dancing.

“Abbie’s face was quite a picture,” said 24-year-old Ben.

“She looked shocked and then broke down in tears. She just couldn’t believe it. I go over the top with a lot of things, so it wouldn’t have been right to just book a table somewhere. It was very special,” Ben added.

Ben was been planning to propose to his girlfriend and decided to do it when Abbie decided to visit her friend Keira in Dubai.

The loving boyfriend waved her off at the Birmingham Airport for her flight, then went home to pack and follow her the very next day. Ben kept in contact with Keira in order to make sure they won’t bump into each other before revealing his surprise.

“I would talk to Keira in the morning and she would tell me their plan for the day so I could avoid them,” said Ben as quoted by Alison Stacey in her article for Birmingham Mail.

“I had even taken pictures of our kitten Rafael, so that I could send them to Abbie and she would think I was still at home,” he added.

At the end of the desert tour, Ben tapped Abbie on the shoulder and popped the question.

“Afterwards, we all went back to Keira’s apartment and had a celebration,’’ he said.

Abbie was happy with the surprise and admitted she never had any single idea about it.

“It was just a huge shock. It was just the perfect place,” Abbie said.

  1. Chris Delacruz should also explain the US-based Filipinos’ functions and jurisdiction.

When most of you took your oath of allegiance to the US (to become its citizens) to absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty (in our case the Philippine sovereignty), of whom or which you have heretofore been a subject or citizen.

What gives you right to meddle with the issues of the country you turned your back-to? Dyan na lang siguro kayo sa bansang pinili nyo.
Porke trending sa FB bibida at nakikisali rin kayo? Pak ganern!

    • then what gives you the right to say i am proud to be a pinoy if a phil am in the united have a achievements napaka hypocrytical mo talaga tao

      • I will live and die in the Philippines. Proud to be Pinoy.
Never call yourself a Fil-Am when you’re not dual citizen.
If you’re only US citizen, you’re not Pinoy anymore, you’re American now.
Tinalikdan mo na nga ang Pinas nang mag-oath taking ka, nahirit ka pa eh
