LOS ANGELES, California – A video showing a man sneaking behind a mom when her back was turned and trying to snatch her four-year-old child emerged online and caught the attention of the online community.

Stephen Jones mentioned in his article for Mirror Co UK that the incident which was captured on video happened last Friday on Victorville; a peaceful town northwest of Los Angeles.

The clip shows a mother holding a baby while a little girl stood by her side as they entered an unnamed store. While the mother was waiting in line, out of nowhere appears a man’s arm which quickly reaches through the door of the store and grabs the girl; pulling her out swiftly.

The mother, who was still holding her baby, chases after the culprit and manages to wrestle her daughter back from the man’s grip just outside the store. Another customer also hurried to help the mother out.

The clip culminates with the mother successfully taking her distressed daughter back inside the store and closely hugging and consoling her.
