MANILA, Philippines – Jodi Sta. Maria denied that she got back together with Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla.

Rumors that the former couple reconciled surfaced after Jolo uploaded recent photos of himself with Jodi on his private Instagram account.

However, Jodi emphasized that they remained friends even after they decided to break up.

Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) quoted her as saying: “If once in a while we do hang out, I don’t find anything wrong with that.”

When she was asked if there’s a chance for them to get back together, Jodi answered that as of now, she’s just enjoying whatever she has right now and she doesn’t want to be pressured over things.

Jodi admitted her breakup with Jolo in an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” last July 21.

The two of them have been together for several years and when they were just starting, they agreed to keep their personal lives away from the public eye.

When Jodi was asked by Boy Abunda what’s the biggest lesson she learned about love, she said that a woman should know her own worth and value.

ABS-CBN News quoted her as saying: “Loving yourself isn’t selfish at all. We should never apologize for having high standards in love because the right man or the man who really wants to be in your life will rise up to meet those standards.”

She said she also believes in second chances but at the moment, after her failed relationship with Jolo, she is not yet ready to enter a relationship again.

“But I know that when the time is right, I will,” she added.
