- Dulce’s explosive revelations has gone viral on Facebook
MANILA, Philippines – Veteran Singer Dulce has surprised everyone on social media with her explosive revelations about beleaguered Senator Leila De Lima and her rumored connection to the drug lords at National Bilibid Prison (NBP).
Although Dulce, Maria Teresa Llamedo Cruzata in real life, did not directly name De Lima as the one she referred to in her Facebook post, she nonetheless shared a photo of them together. Her post also carries the hashtag #PrayForTheSenator, among others.
Dulce said she has warned the senator to come clean and even keep silent if she wants to, before things get out of hand. She also alleged that De Lima’s former bosses obviously used her for their own good and has now come to her aid to divert the issue.
“Tama na tapang-tapangan at pagiging overconfident hindi ka nila kayang protektahan, only the truth can protect you,” the singer added. (Enough of feigned courage and of being overconfident because they can’t protect you any longer, only the truth can protect you.)
Dulce also lamented over the lives wasted and destroyed by illegal drugs, but apparently, the senator has already turned a blind eye on the tragedy that has befallen the families of these victims.
She also accused the senator of allegedly terminating the people in the agency, including the singer’s husband, who refused to join them in their ‘drug business’.
“Hindi masikmura ng asawa ko ang pakainin kami ng galing sa perang pinangwasak n’yo ng buhay ng ibang tao. Kaya ang pinakamadaling paraan ay tanggalin na lang para walang hadlang sa mga ginagawa ninyo di ba,” she added in her post.
[My husband cannot stomach feeding our family with the money you used to destroy other lives. So the easiest way would be to fire them from their job and remove all those who opposed you.]
At the end of her post, Dulce wrote: “What have you done to your family’s good name? I pray you’d be jolted out from your slumber, and hope it’s not yet too late. I pray for redemption.”
It has since gone viral on Facebook with more than 12,000 shares less than 24 hours after it was posted.
