BEIJING, China – A video of a woman being beaten by a group of women emerged online and created a stir in the online community.

Scott Campbell mentioned in his article for Mirror Co UK that a young woman was seen beaten in a video shared on Vine-like video sharing application Miaopai in China as a punishment for her being a “home wrecker”.

The video shows the young woman struggling as she received slaps and beating using several things including a footwear. Although the beating continued for several minutes, no witness came forward to stop the gang.

The victim was left with no choice but to cover her face to protect it as she lays on the ground while the gang was attacking her. The attackers hit the woman on her thighs and backside until she turned red. The gang also attempted to strip the woman’s clothes off and then strangle her with her shoe laces.

After a few minutes, the girl, who is wearing a green dress, was full of visibly swollen red marks because of the beating.

An article by Stevie Beer for Express said that it is presumed that among the ‘mob justice’ attackers surrounding the victim, one is the wife of a man with whom the victim allegedly have an affair with.

The video went viral after it was shared on China’s popular microblogging site Sina Weibo. The identities of the young lady, as well as those from the gang, were not revealed, neither the place of incident.
