- Aquino confirmed she will be transferring to APT Entertainment and TAPE Entertainment

ABS-CBN has released a statement thanking Kris Aquino for her years in the network; just hours after she officially confirmed her departure from the company and her future projects with another media organization.
ABS-CBN Corporate Communications head Kane Errol Choa reiterated that the network respects Aquino’s decision to leave the company.
“We thank Kris for the many years that she has been a Kapamilya bringing joy, hope, and inspiration to our viewers worldwide. She will always be a Kapamilya and we wish her well in her new journey,” the network said in a statement.
Earlier, the actress and television host dubbed as “Queen of All Media” confirmed that she will be transferring to APT Entertainment and TAPE Entertainment which produce the noontime program Eat Bulaga that airs in the rival GMA Network.
Aquino’s friend, talent manager Boy Abunda reached out to Tony Tuviera of APT Entertainment to broker the new arrangement.
The actress, meanwhile, only has positive words for her now former network.
“This is the 1st (and) last I shall say about this chapter of my life. You deserved the true story (and) I gave you my truth, so that we may all move forward… So here’s a shoutout of THANK YOU to the Kapamilya Network ABS-CBN for all that was, and here’s a shoutout of THANK YOU to my new APT family for all that will be. And most of all my THANK YOU to all of you for allowing me to just be me,” she wrote on her official Instagram account.
