The body of a woman, identified to be a sister of actress Maritoni Fernandez, was found inside a district of exclusive subdivisions in Quezon City; with a placard that says ‘drug pusher ng mga celebrities’.
In an article by Vanne Torregoza of Tempo, it was disclosed that victim Aurora Ma. Moynihan, 45, was shot dead by an unidentified gunman early morning of Saturday, September 10, inside a district of exclusive subdivisions in Quezon City.
PO3 Anthony Tejerero of the Quezon City Police District homicide section confirmed the relationship between the victim and Fernandez; who is a character actress, model and entrepreneur. The victim’s body was reportedly claimed by stepfather Eduardo Fernandez.
Moynihan’s body was found on the sidewalk on Temple Drive, corner of Giraffe St. She wore a blood-stained white T-shirt and jacket, a pair of jeans, and rubber shoes.
Recovered from the victim’s bag were sachets said to contain shabu, four pieces of aluminum foil, two improvised glass tooters, three improvised lamps and some personal belongings. A cardboard placard was also placed across her body which reads: “Drug pusher ng mga celebrities, kasunod na kayo [Drug pusher of celebrities, you’re next].”
Witnesses said a silver Toyota Fortuner stopped in front of a house on Temple Drive before successive gunshots were heard; apparently emanating from the vehicle. After the Fortuner left, the witnesses went to check and found the body.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Guillermo Eleazar said he will call for an investigation on the killing. He did not set aside the possibility that Moynihan was delivering illegal drugs in Quezon City.
Eleazar said the QCPD is currently monitoring celebrities in Quezon City who are allegedly linked to the illegal drug trade.
