- President Duterte lashed out at the European Union for condemning the wave of killings under his administration
- He called EU hypocrites, saying a look at history books will show the atrocities committed by EU member countries
- Duterte also flashed the dirty finger to stress his points
President Rodrigo Duterte lashed out at the European Union (EU) after the EU Parliament issued a five-page resolution asking the Philippines to stop the wave of extrajudicial killings and executions of individual involved in illegal drugs.
The EU urged the Philippines to investigate the executions and adopt comprehensive policies and programs in compliance with national and international obligations and respect for human rights, as per an article published by ABS-CBN.
“I read the condemnation of the EU against me. I will tell them, f*** you,” Duterte said at the Sulong Pilipinas-Local Governance Dialogues at SMX Convention Center in Davao City.
The President claimed that the EU had been strict over the behavior of other countries because of their “guilt feelings” over the atrocities they have committed in the past.
President Duterte also called EU hypocrites; saying a look at history books will show the atrocities committed by EU member countries.
“Hipokrito itong, you should look at history books, encyclopedia of events. Sila ‘yun eh, Britain, France. Tapos itong EU ngayon has the gall to condemn me. Again, I repeat it, f*** you,” he said; flashing the dirty finger to stress his point.
