Son of Chinese billionaire buys not just one, but 8 iPhone 7s for his pet dog

  • The son of a Chinese billionaire, Wang Sicong, has bought 8 iPhone 7s for his pet dog Coco
  • The Alaskan malamute now has all the iPhone 7 variety available in the market
  • The pet’s owner is known to shower his dog with lavish gifts

Some pets are luckier than the others. In fact, one could say that sometimes, pets are luckier than other men.

Take the case of an Alaskan malamute which happens to be the pet dog of a son of one of China’s richest men.

Wang Sicong, the son of Chinese real estate billionaire Wang Jianlin, has ‘surprised’ his pet dog, Coco, not just with one, but – hold your breath – with 8 iPhone 7s.

Wang then posted the photos of his lavish gifts for Coco on his social media account for everyone to salivate. Apparently, Coco now has all the varieties of iPhone 7 that Apple has launched recently, from Rose Gold to Jet Black.

The Business Insider said a 256 GB iPhone 7 in China could cost around 7,798 Chinese Yuan or $1,198, which means Wang Sicong spent nearly $10,000 for his gifts.

The picture Wang shared was accompanied with the caption: “I don’t understand all the show-off posts on (social media). What’s the point? Don’t make me do it?”

True enough, what’s with the show-off if you only managed to buy one iPhone 7 and a dog in China has 8?

Wang’s post immediately went viral on social media, eliciting different reactions from netizens.

Many are hoping, however, for the dog to finally realize it does not have much use for 8 iPhones and decide to give away some of the units.

This is not the first time “China’s richest son” showered his pet with expensive gifts. In 2015, he bought Coco two Rose Gold Apple Watches which reportedly cost around $12,000 each.

Coco has earned the rights of being ‘China’s richest dog’, and rightly so.
