Watch: Huge python bites man’s neck as he tries to take selfies

RAJASTHAN, India – A video of a man, who was bitten by a huge python as he was taking selfies with the captured animal, is making rounds online and making the online community shriek.

An article by Paul Harper for Mirror Co UK said that an Indian man’s attempt for a selfie with a python went horribly wrong when the huge snake snapped and bit him while he was totally not expecting it.

The man was attacked while his relatives were holding the python in their hands.

The incident, which was recorded on Friday, happened in the India state of Rajasthan. Incredibly the man was unharmed and was left only with a slight bruise on his chin.

Forest department officials had removed the python after it went into a school.

Taking selfies even with the disregard of own safety had been long criticized.

An article by Kicker Daily said that a young woman’s life was put in mortal danger after she was bitten by a cobra while striking a pose for a selfie with the venomous snake in the southern Russian village of Dermontovo.

The victim was believed to have been convinced by 34-year-old Oliver Matveyev to take a selfie with his pet; however, the cobra struck and bit her before the camera could capture the photo.

The woman was immediately taken to a hospital but fell into a coma later.

The man who was offering the service to tourists for an opportunity to take a selfie with the cobra was reportedly arrested by the police.
