Holiday Video: These Heathrow Teddy Bears will surely make you want to go home for Christmas

The “Best gift of all” video advert is making the rounds on the net; touching people with its strong message of love especially during the holiday season.

With over 61 millions views on Facebook and You Tube, it’s not surprising why it’s touching hearts worldwide.

Heathrow’s first Christmas video campaign features two elderly teddy bears as they make their way to their family to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones; something that many people wish they could do on this special season of the year.

Teddy bears are probably the most well-loved toys globally and seeing this couple bear fly home and meet their family is sure to captivate viewers.  The heartwarming 70-second video tells us how families are reunited by way of  easy travel.

Moreover, the advert shows us tender moments as how loving couples could be; the wife’s gentle touch to wake her sleeping husband, their companionable walk together as they make their way through the escalator, desks and immigration, and finally, that excited anticipation as to who’s meeting them at the airport arrival area.

Heathrow’s Commercial Director Jonathan Coen shared that Christmas is his favorite time of year at Heathrow; when the airport is abuzz with families and friends reuniting for this special time of year.

“We love the film and hope the bears’ journey through the airport captures that excitement you feel when walking through Heathrow arrivals into the arms of your loved ones at Christmas,” he added

As disclosed on the Heathrow site, it’s the next phase of their brand campaign designed to mark its 70th anniversary and follows Heathrow’s First Flight which was launched earlier in summer.

The campaign has been created by advertising agency Havas, with film direction by DOM&NIC through Outsider Productions and animation from The Mill.

The shared vid on Facebook has earned over 57 million views!

On You Tube, views have risen to more than 4 million.
