- PNP chief offered use of Camp Crame’s Custodial Center as cell for senator

According to Dela Rosa, De Lima’s safety will be assured if she is detained at the Custodial Center.
“I am offering the facility so she will be given complete protection because she is a senator,” the Philippine Star quoted him saying. “I think, for me, that is one of the most secured detention centers in the country, in as much as it is situated right inside PNP General Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City. I promise her that she will be very, very safe inside Camp Crame.”
The PNP chief clarified though that they are just waiting for whatever the court handling De Lima’s case will order.
“Basta ako I’m just waiting for instructions from the competent courts, kung just in case kailangan nang gamitin ang aming Crame Detention Center,” he said.
