- Cesar Montano said he was hurt by son Diego’s rants against him

- He said he loves his son
Actor Cesar Montano admitted he was hurt by the tirades against him by Diego Loyzaga; his son with former actress Teresa Loyzaga.
Manila Bulletin columnist Shirley M. Pizarro shared in her column that the actor was beside himself with grief, shock, dismay and frustration when she talked to him on the day his son posted his rants on a social media site.
The columnist said Cesar told her that he was hurt by his son’s criticisms.
“I am hurt. But all I did was try and protect him like any father would. He has a problem. There is nothing I want more than to be able to help him. I only want what’s best for him. He is my son. I love him,” she quoted Cesar Montano as saying.
Early this week, Diego took to Instagram and slammed his father for accusing him of being a drug addict. He claimed Cesar made him take several drug tests. He also said his father threw him out of the house he gave him and even accused Cesar of denying him as his child.
Diego has since deleted his posts, according to Miss Pizarro.
