MANILA, Philippines – Here’s another viral video from Jollibee, but this time it’s not part of the love-themed advert series released by the popular fastfood company in time for Valentine’s Day.
Rather, it involves the well-loved mascot assisting a conked-out car on a highway last February 12.
The short clip was uploaded by one netizen named Anna Marie Timtim-Libetario.
It showed the Jollibee mascot helping a motorist push his stranded vehicle to a safer location near Petron gas station in Marilao along North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).
The sharer said it happened in the middle of the day when the sun was at its highest.
As expected the short clip went viral on Facebook with more than 300,000 views, more than 3,700 shares and over 4,300 positive reactions.
Last week, netizens went crazy over the ‘Kwentong Jollibee Valentine’s Series’ adverts which featured three videos namely ‘Vow’, ‘Crush’ and ‘Date’; all of whom have become a hit among social media users.
