MANILA, Philippines – The family of Paul Anthony Esguerra is seeking help on social media to locate his whereabouts. He has been missing for four days as of February 9.
Esguerra, a UP Diliman graduate and a teacher at APEC Schools Marikina, was last seen on Sunday, February 5.
According to Esguerra’s partner, Michelle Marie Mejia Mendoza, the missing teacher told him he will be attending a birthday party and have appointments with different persons and friends afterwards.
Esguerra first went home to his family residence in Project 4, Quezon City before leaving around 5:00 on the same day. He was wearing a checkered polo, maong pants and black leather shoes.
He was last seen in places in Marikina such as Fairlane near Chinabank, and based from his last Facebook update, in Nangka, Marikina.
A friend also shared a screenshot of Esguerra’s last few Facebook updates on February 5.
One read “Goodluck looking for my corpse. I love you guys. Bye. Bye.” from Nangka at 10:42 pm.
The other said “Deep waters. Manila Bay. Dead is the new sexy” somewhere in Quezon City around 10:55 pm.

“Let’s all keep praying for his safety,” wrote Mendoza on her Facebook. “To my brothers and sisters in media, or who has connections with authorities, paki-tulungan po kami mahanap siya or maybe share this post.”
