- The administrator of Troy High School’s (THS’) Facebook page disclosed that only one student was behind the touching Valentine’s surprise
- The student, who chose to remain anonymous, put a heart origami on each of the 1,504 drawers in THS
- The kindhearted student planned the surprise to make sure that all the students in the school will receive something on Valentine’s Day
The administrator of Troy High School’s (THS’) Facebook page disclosed that only one student is behind the touching Valentine’s surprise which was prepared for the 1,504 THS students last February 14.
On Facebook, THS’ Facebook page shared that behind the lovely surprise is only one student, who until the end — even after the surprise went viral — opted to remain anonymous.
“This actually turned out to be one student who wishes to remain anonymous. These are individually handwritten origami hearts that this person started working on back in September. This person has been secretly storing them in their closet at home to surprise everyone,” THS wrote, putting the #TROJANFAMILY at the end of the post.
The anonymous student from THS in Ohio planned the whole thing to make sure not a single one will feel lonely on Valentine’s Day. The person created over a thousand of colorful origami hearts and taped one to every locker lining the school’s hallways.
Each small Valentine’s surprise has a simple message: You are loved.
Meanwhile, after the surprise went viral, numerous students from different high schools did the same thing to spread the love. They decorated lockers with cards, lollipops, and empowering messages scrawled by hand on paper.
