Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald De la Rosa has already signed the memorandum creating the Counter-Intelligence Task Force (CITF) that will go after erring policemen. It will be composed of 100 men; most of whom will be coming from the PNP Special Action Force (SAF).
Dela Rosa said the CITF, which will handle complaints against police scalawags, will be launched next week.
“Napirmahan ko na, so ready for launching na ‘yan, maybe next week. Baka Monday puwede nang i-launch ‘yan at puwede na silang mag-entertain ng mga complaints, mga information about rogue cops,” he said of the task force.

As mentiond in Inquirer, the task force will be composed of 72 police commandos from PNP-SAF’s Rapid Deployment Battalion eCompany and the rest would come from PNP Intelligence Group and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
The CITF will be headed by Senior Superintendent Chiquito Malayo.
