A mom posted a video of her daughter on the internet and it took away the blues of almost everyone online.
Lindsay Chapman-Carroll of California shared on Facebook a video of her daughter Leah dancing to the tune of “Overcomer” by Mandisa.
It would have been just like any other regular cute video of a baby but the story behind it is just soul-enriching.
Apparently, the four-year-old kid has been in the hospital for more than 10 months and has undergone two bone marrow transplants. Little Leah has a rare disorder called congenital neutropenia.
“My daughter has overcome two bone marrow transplants. She has spent the last 322 days away from her family and mostly in the hospital due to complications,” said the mother in a Facebook post to Mandisa.
“However, she has the joy of the Lord and a love for music. Overcomer is one of her all time favs! Someone suggested I share it with you personally! She is such a light to all she meets….I hope she brings a smile to your face, too!” she also said.
The video, originally posted on February 6, has garnered as much as 36 million views. Even Mandisa commented on it: “Omigosh! It brought a smile to my face, tears to my eyes, and joy to my soul! Lifting up prayers for Leah right now!”
