Who doesn’t know Piko Taro, the character created by Japanese comedian and DJ Kazuhito Kosaka who popularized the ‘bizarre’ music video PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)?

Piko Taro has acknowledged that it was because of Canadian superstar Justin Bieber that made PPAP a worldwide hit. On September last year, the singer tweeted that the Pen-Pineapple-Apple-pen video clip was his favorite video on the internet.

Justin Bieber and Piko Taro finally met each other in Tokyo last week during the filming of a commercial for Japan’s top notch telecommunications company, SoftBank.

On Tuesday, February 14, Bieber shared on Instagram a photo of him with Piko Taro. He captioned it with: “I have a Pen.”
