A video of diminutive comedienne Mahal channeling Senator Leila De Lima has gone viral online. The clip was titled “Before Arrest.”

Uploaded on Facebook by a certain Mae Rivera on Friday, March 3, the video showing the comedienne made up to look like the lady senator, complete with her trademark shawl and eyeglasses, has already been viewed over 2.6 million times, gotten more than 14,000 likes and received nearly 3,500 comments s of posting.

Mahal’s delivery of her lines, some of them unintelligible, got viewers laughing.

“Hulihin n’yo ako ngayon. ‘Yan naman ang gusto n’yo, eh. Ikulong n’yo ako. I’m here….(unintelligible)…to me, Mr. President. I will wait for you,” she said.

[Arrest me now. That’s what you want. Jail me….)

“She’s very funny, although I did not understand most of what she said,” said one viewer.
