Truly Inspires! “Blind Computer Technician” graduates from Senior High School

It is only his eyes that are unable to see… but his vision to step up and move forward to reaching his dreams is broad and vivid.

LIBON ALBAY – A visually impaired man was one among the first batch of Senior High School students at Libon Agro Industrial High School who graduated on Thursday, April 6, 2017.

Christopher John Abila, 20, was able to finish his course in Computer Systems Servicing under Technical Vocational Livelihood Track.

Abila, despite his inability to see physically because of blindness, is known to be an expert at fixing CPU and memory card of computers.

Aside from the diploma he received, he was also given the “Best in Work Immersion” award during the graduation rites.

As per an ABS CBN story, he couldn’t contain the happiness he felt during their graduation together with 49 other students.

He said he is planning to take up Education in the next school year.

His recent achievement just proves that nothing, even his disability, could deter him from reaching his dream of finishing high school.
