This Easter, one of those attractions in Bicol that caught tourists’ attention is the Ligao Sunflower Farm!
Ligao Sunflower Farm is definitely a fantastic sight, as year after year, thousands of bright and lovely sunflowers grow and cover the entire field. The sunflower farm is part of the Kawa-kawa Hill Natural Park in Ligao City, Albay in the Bicol Region.
As per Turista Trails, to go to the Sunflower Farm from Naga City: Ride a van or bus bound for Legazpi City and get off along the highway at Kawa-kawa. Ride a tricycle from there. For those coming from Legazpi City, ride a van bound for Ligao City, then get off along the highway at Kawa-kawa and ride a tricycle.
While not a popular lenten destination, Ligao’s sunflower farm is definitely a hit for people who just want to appreciate the beauty of nature and take wonderful photographs.
