The fire in a warehouse in Marikina City has reached the fifth alarm a few hours after it started on Friday, April 28.
In an article posted on ABS-CBN News, it was disclosed that a fire broke out in a warehouse in Barangay Fortune, Marikina City at 6:30 p.m.
The blaze, which is near the Boys Town Complex, reached the third alarm at 6:50 p.m.
As of posting, authorities have yet to reveal other details on the fire, including the cause of the blaze.
Meanwhile, on a Facebook group, a resident asked the help of his fellow Marikeños; saying that the firefighters in the city needs bottled water.
“Pakiusap: Sa mga nais tumulong sa sunog sa Boys Town. Bigyan po natin ng bottled water ang mga bumbero. Kailangan po nila tubig na maiinom dahil dehydrated na po sila. Salamat po,” he wrote.
