A joint effort by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA,) the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and local officials led to the arrest of four members of a drug syndicate in Legazpi, Albay.
PDEA Director Aaron Aquino identified the suspects as Arturo Romero, Ricky Tripulca, Eduardo Espineda and Fe Guinto.
The four were alleged members of the Loveriza Drug Group in Albay.
According to a PDEA report on Monday, 45 packets of shabu weighing 113 grams with an estimated street value of P550,000 were seized from the suspects.
All four suspects were arrested at their respective residence at Brgy. 28, Victory Village, Legazpi City Albay following the issuance of arrest warrants.
Charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the four suspects.
