MeaKryztine Aquiviano posted on Facebook that she and her boyfriend enjoyed 5 Asian countries in 17 days and spent only roughly P15,118.50. She clarified that the budget includes plane fare, bus tickets and accommodations for two.
The couple set aside an additional P15,000 for food, souvenirs and entrance.
The thrifty traveler enjoyed the scenic spots of Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia. Aquiviano revealed that your expenses will mostly depend on your priorities. Some spend so much on food, others on sightseeing and visiting spots.
Aquiviano revealed that the key to affordable plane tickets is to watch out for “Piso fare promo” online. She inspired everyone to travel more and said, “You don’t have to be rich to travel well.”
