- He is currently detained and is facing charges for robbery and probably more for usurpation of authority and possession of deadly weapon
A fat man was arrested after he pretended to be a cop and performed a robbery-holdup in Quezon City on Saturday night.
The suspect was identified as Mark Anthony Verbo, resident of Bistekville 6 in Fairview.
Verbo was arrested after he allegedly staged a holdup along the corner of EDSA and NIA Road.
Wearing a policeman’s bullcap, the suspect was also caught in possession of a sharp weapon.
He was also using a motorcycle with a sticker with the letters ‘QCPD’, which probably meant Quezon City Police District.
Aside from robbery, he may also be charged with usurpation of authority and possession of deadly weapon.
