A tricycle driver in Puerto Princesa returned his passenger’s iPhone 7 on Monday morning.
Fernando Solina, the passenger, named the honest tricycle driver through a Facebook post.
Fernando said he took a tricycle ride from the airport to his house but he noticed his cellphone was missing.
He tried to call his phone several times and on the 5th attempt, somebody answered; informing him that his cellphone was in the custody of Puerto Princesa AIRTODA.
[I didn’t notice that there was a phone on the seat. When I was cleaning my motorcycle, I saw it and then it started ringing, but I didn’t know how to use an iPhone, so I gave it to my companion at the airport, Larry, who took the call.]
Victor said he didn’t think twice on returning the cellphone. In fact, it was not the first time. Rather, it had been more than five times that items were left by passengers in his tricycle.
According to AIRTODA, Victor is not the only honest driver they have. Through their honesty, they are hoping that they’re helping in the tourism of Puerto Princesa.
