P300,000 worth of prohibited drugs were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation staged in Barangay Triangulo, Naga City on Friday afternoon.
Arrested were two suspects who are cousins after two plastic bags with 50 grams of shabu were found in their possession.
Another sachet was found in their pockets after frisking.
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), one of the suspects has long been a supplier in Naga and nearby towns.
Their drugs were reportedly supplied from Muntinlupa wherein every transaction delivered is P40,000 daily.
One of the suspects is a jeepney driver. He denied ownership of the illegal drugs, but admitted that he previously joined drug trades involving his detained in-law.
The suspects are facing charges for violating Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
