Floyd Mayweather Jr. set the record straight about rumors of a possible rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather was quick in his answers that the possibility seems a bit dim. He told ABS-CBN, “I’m an old man now. There’s no more fighting for Floyd Mayweather.”
Aboard his fancy personalized private jet, the undefeated boxer is in Manila. When asked his reason for visiting, he said he’s here for the fans. “I’m very appreciative of all my Filipino fans, I wanna say thank you,” he said.
Mayweather also added, “I would love to sign some upcoming talent, upcoming Filipino talent. I would love to work with them – myself and Mayweather Promotions.”
When asked if he will meet his former opponent, Pacquiao, Mayweather gave a rather vague answer. “I would like to meet all the great people in the Philippines,” he said.
