“Dukot Survival is an installation work composed on preserve burnt rice with small plastic human figures inserted between the grains and five multi colored vitrines,” sabi ng 1335 Mabini sa kanilang Facebook page.

“Dukot is presented as an artifact of the upcoming past, the forthcoming old society. As humanity strives toward a more balanced world, civilizations leave behind evidences of how people live,” paliwanag pa nila. “This is a reflection of how people evolve by adapting to the demands of the society. It also reflects the disappearance of a society, the fading values, and the vanishing traditions, which can also result to modern evolutionary synthesis.”

“This is probably my hidden talent. All these years, I never realized the artist in me. Is this my calling? I’m selling our scorched rice for 1,000 pesos only,” biro ni Dennis G.

“Artist pala misis ko. Kasi araw araw tutong ung kanin.

“I think the ingenuity I noticed with this Tutong is the fairness of its color… Nice art for the believers,” komento niya.

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Even ordinary stuff can be art. Technically art is around us,” sabi naman ni Neil A.
