  • May pagsusuri ang netizen sa pelikulang “Through Night and Day”

“Over the last couple of days, Veronica Velasco’s 2018 Film Through Night And Day starring Alessandra de Rossi and Paolo Contis has become a trending topic in the internet. Having been shown a couple of years ago, given a little attention it is now suddenly making a buzz,” panimula ng kaniyang post.

“It may appear to be a passe type of melodramatic stint coupled with striking lines and LSS worthy songs, this movie has offered more to its viewers looking into the binary oppositions in nature. Good and Evil, White and Black, Rich and Poor have been common in the films,” giit niya.

“The majority of the film was filmed or set in Iceland, looking into the geographical aspect it can be said that the country is known to be the Land of Fire and Ice other than the literal light and darkness origin. No matter how different the characteristics of fire and ice, still it is a mystery how both have survived in the same environment,” aniya.

Sa pagpapatuloy, “With that it can be posed that Jen’s most awaited places or sceneries in the film are all connected to the Ice or water element. She wanted to visit the pool, the falls, the geyser, and even to witness the Aurora Borealis in which the name can be alluded to the moon or dawn. On the other hand, Paolo Contis’ character Ben would always be seen driving and eager to visit the crater which are elements of earth and fire. The two characters desired sceneries or places to go to clearly show how different they are in choices.”

Sunod na pagsusuri, “The presence of the mother and father giving advice to their children but siding on the other party could also be directly seen (although very common) as binary opposition but looking closely on how that scene ended there is this reconciliation between Jen and Ben (well, even the names could also ring a bell to the viewers). However, the names of the main characters upon looking at the origin would likely to lean on having the good and compassionate nature (both).”

“Needless to say, with all the differences shown in the movie we could see how the elements (no matter how opposite in nature) can still go along with each other. People might say that the characters did not go along well in the middle of the narrative however (watch the movie, too much spoiling).”

At narito naman ang nagapagtanto niya, “In ending we could say that no matter how different we are to the other person in the relationship but once compromise is attained things will be better (secret), no matter how cold the ice may be or hot the fire is both can coexist, that water and fire would always be there and that there will always be extensional possibilities in the nights and days, endless possibilities amidst the differences.”

When everyone needs pure love and understanding.
