Motoristang nagpaskil ng marriage certificate, huli pa rin dahil sa improvised barrier

Simula nang ipatupad ng gobyerno ang paglalagay ng barrier para sa mga motoristang may angkas, daan-daan na ring mga riders ang nahuli at natiketan dahil sa paglabag umano sa guidelines na inilabas ng IATF para dito.

Nitong Agosto 1, naglabas ng kautusan ang Joint Task Force (JTF) Covid Shield na magsimula nang manghuli ang kinauukulan ng mga riders na lumabag sa panuntunan ng IATF lalo na sa disenyo ng barrier.

Nitong Lunes, isang motorista ang nahuli ng Highway Patrol Group (HPG) dahil sa nasabing paglabag; ito ay sa kabila ng mayroon nang nakapaskil sa barrier na marriage certificate nilang mag-asawa.

Ayon sa mga larawang kuha at ibinahagi ni Zhander Cayabyab ng ABS-CBN News, nahuli ang motorista dahil improvised lamang ang ginamit na barrier. Ito ay gawa umano sa bakal na galing sa isang stroller cart.

Base sa guidelines ng IATF, ang ganitong paglabag ay kabilang sa ‘reckless driving’ na may kaukulang parusa mula P1,000 hanggang P10,000 depende kung ilang violation pa ang kaniyang nagawa.

Panuntunan ng IATF

Ito ang guidelines ng IATF para sa mga pillion riding:

-All drivers and passengers must wear face masks and helmets at all times;

-Maximum of two persons per motorcycle must be allowed, provided that they are couples living in the same household. Provided further that the valid IDs and related documents shall be presented as proof that said persons are living together, married, and/or in a mutual relationship (common-law wife, boyfriend, girlfriend); and

-A safety barrier/shield whose design is duly-approved by the IATF National Task Force Covid-19 must be placed between the driver and the passenger.

Samantala, ito naman ang mga kaukulang parusa sa mga lalabag:

-Non-wearing of face masks, helmets and non-installation of the approved barriers would fall under Reckless Driving with penalties ranging from PHP1,000 to PHP10,000 depending on the number of the same offense committed;

-Those who are not authorized to back-ride (those who are not married or living-in partners) would be penalized with overloading of passengers with a penalty of PHP1,000; and

-Drivers who are not classified as Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) would be meted with the violation of driving without a valid license which has a fine of PHP3,000.
