- Aniya, ” It takes courage for a mother to share something she kept inside, but it’s something that can fill in the emptiness of a child that he may also constantly hide”
“RC Cola Philippines’ latest advertisement taught us that — It takes courage for a mother to share something she kept inside, but it’s something that can fill in the emptiness of a child that he may also constantly hide.”
“SUMMARY: The child went home with questions, until he revealed himself with 4 empty glasses unto his back. It was followed by a Mother who too
k her head off, filled it with ice and poured the said beverage which she may be trying to get rid of. The video ended up with a scene of a father and sister, where they shared the 4 glasses of RC Cola together,” pagbabahagi ng netizen.
“It depicts the emptiness that the child may carry for a long time, and imagine how hard it is for a mother to reveal the truth and share it to give what’s meant for her child. As the glasses were filled, the family was completed and they enjoyed the moment. How RC Cola incorporates, Kapag merong problema, mapag-uusapan kasama ang RC Cola was great.”
“Moreover, some details like child t
aking his clothes off defines na ked truth, the ice cubes and his reaction is a chill effect of how talk is going on after his rag e, the mother taking her scarf from her neck means putting off conservatism to address it with rigid truth. Other details are self-explanatory from it’s connotative and denotative level.”
“If you find this DISTUR
BING and W EIRD then it’s definitely FINE, ’cause it’s a success indication for the advertising team to create an organic buzz. Art doesn’t always comfort you. Yay, Surre alism! #RCCola.”
“These are some points that I was able to come up while analyzing the ad for my reading visual arts. I’m not affiliated to company nor the advertising team itself. I just want to unfold mayhap the interpretation for my friends and wasn’t expecting to pull off this massive audience.”
“Nevertheless, I’m not merely trying to explain, but to appreciate the semantics rather. Again, this is my PERSONAL take for the ad. I hope it’s pretty clear.”
