Inilunsad noong November 11, 2020 at matatapos sa December 11, 2020 ang 2nd offering ng Premyo Bond ay bahagi ng savings mobilization program ng gobyerno na naglalayong maipakilala at gawing accessible sa mga ordinaryong mamamayan ang government securities.

Ayon kay National Treasurer Rosalia V. De Leon, sa Premyo Bonds, na unang inilunsad noong nakaraang taon, pinagsanib nila ang magagandang elemento ng pagtaya sa lotto at pagbili ng hindi-gaanong-maunawaan na fixed-income assets.

“Since Filipinos have long turned to the lotteries as means of gaining instant fortune, an as opposed to buying complicated and less understood fixed-income assets, we combined the good elements of the two into what is now the Premyo Bonds,” ani De Leon.

Dagdag pa niya, “The hope is that as more Filipinos gain familiarity with treasury bonds, they will begin to realize higher returns on their savings while at the same time giving the government more financing sources to advance our economic agenda.”

Ang interest ng Premyo Bonds kada taon ay 1.25%. Hindi man kalakihan ang tubo ay may tsansa namang manalo ng hanggang isang milyong piso dahil ang bawat P500 investment ay may katumbas na isang raffle entry.

Hindi kagaya ng lotto, kapag natalo ang investor sa raffle ay hawak pa rin niya ang perang ipinuhunan at may tubo pa.

Ang raffle draw ay gagawin every quarter. Maaaring manalo ng P100,000; P200,000 at P1 million ang bondholders. Ang Grand Prize winners ay makatatanggap pa ng karagdagang premyong P3 million, P6 million o dalawang brand-new Toyota Innova mula sa private sector partnetersa ng Bureau of Treaasury kabilang ang Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc., International Container Terminal Servicss, Inc., at GT Capital Holdings, Inc.

May apat na paraan para makabili ng Premyo Bonds.
